The Autauga Education Foundation (AEF) is a nonprofit organization which provides sustainable resources and community support which may not otherwise be available to the Autauga County District School System. The Foundation is a separate and independent organization from the school system that works in concert with the system’s goals and objectives to provide support.

Since 1995, AEF has provided over $500,000 in funding to enhance educational programs and student experiences, both academic and athletic, throughout Autauga County.

Funds raised by AEF do not come from large endowments or corporations. They come from people just like you who are concerned about the success of our community's schools. AEF connects with the school system to identify the essential needs at all of our schools, then brings community leaders, philanthropic organizations, citizens and local businesses together for a united fundraising effort.

The dollars raised through our fundraising efforts are distributed to classrooms, schools, and support departments in the Autauga County School System through our very own grant program.
A FEW OF OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS:
• We Give 180
• Teacher Grants
• Student Grants

The AEF Board of Directors is comprised of twelve to twenty members, each serving a one-year term. The Board is responsible for overseeing strategic direction, institutional oversight, and lending resources as they pertain to fundraising efforts and support programs.
